BOYS IN THE BOAT

What an honour to be chosen by the art department for this highly anticipated film production. “The Boys in the Boat” is a story set back in the 1930s and focuses on the University of Washington's rowing team, from their Depression-era beginnings to winning gold at the 1936 Berlin Olympics.

To bring this to life, we took on the challenge of producing a whole range of set dressings, including detailed flags, 1930s lino prints and boldly designed wallpapers – right down to authentic looking cardboard boxes. It is details like these that bring the creative vision for the film's unique world to life.

Working closely with the talented and dedicated art department on a project of this scale was a true privilege and we look forward to audiences experiencing the finished visual spectacle, directed by George Clooney on the big screen in 2024.
